UP Pre-Board Exams 2026 Ongoing for Class 10, 12; Practical Dates Out

UPMSP is conducting pre-board exams 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 students in schools across Uttar Pradesh. Attendance is mandatory, and practical exam dates and guidelines have already been announced.

UP Pre-Board Exams 2026 Ongoing for Class 10, 12; Practical Dates Out

The UP Pre-Board Exams 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 students are currently underway across Uttar Pradesh. The examinations are being conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad as part of preparations for the main UP Board examinations. Pre-board exams are school-level assessments conducted to help students evaluate their readiness for the final board exams and identify areas that require improvement.

 

UP Pre-Board Exam 2026 Schedule

As per the schedule, the UPMSP pre-board exams began on 08 January 2026 in respective schools. The last date for UP pre-board exams 2026 is 21 January 2026 for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. These examinations are conducted internally by schools, which are responsible for deciding subject-wise exam timings and evaluation procedures.

 

UPMSP Practical Exam Dates 2026 for Class 12

UPMSP has already announced the practical exam schedule for Class 12 students. The practical examinations will be conducted in two phases under school-level supervision.

No UP Board practical examinations will be held on 29 January 2026 and 30 January 2026 due to the conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Examination. The practical exams include viva voce, project work, laboratory experiments, and internal assessments.

 

UP Board Class 10 Practical and Internal Assessment 2026

For Class 10, practical examinations and internal assessments—especially for science subjects—are conducted at the school level as per UPMSP guidelines. These assessments are generally held in late January or early February, aligning with the UP Board academic calendar for 2026.

 

Guidelines for Students and Schools for UP Pre-Board Exams 2026

UPMSP has issued detailed instructions to ensure smooth, transparent, and fair conduct of pre-board and practical examinations.

 

Mandatory Attendance

Attendance in pre-board and practical exams is compulsory. Students absent without valid reasons may be declared ineligible for the UP Board Exams 2026.

 

Conduct and Transparency Rules

Practical answer sheets must be preserved for at least one year after the examinations. The board may conduct random audits of schools to maintain assessment integrity. Only two batches per day with a limited number of students are permitted.

 

Malpractice Prevention

Strict action will be taken against any use of unfair means during pre-board or practical examinations. In serious cases, provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act may be applied. Students are also advised to ensure that their project work is complete and properly documented before appearing for practical examinations.

 

UP Board Class 10 and 12 Exam Dates 2026

After completion of pre-board and practical exams, UPMSP will conduct the main board examinations as per the previously released timetable. The UP Board Class 10 and 12 Exams 2026 will be held from 18 February 2026 to 12 March 2026. Admit cards will be distributed by schools, while private candidates will be able to download them through the official UPMSP portal.
