The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will conduct the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2025 and Assistant Forest Conservator/Regional Forest Officer (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on October 12, 2025 (Sunday). Authorities have finalised arrangements to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process. District administration held a review meeting at BNSD Shiksha Niketan Inter College, chaired by District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, to oversee preparations and ensure strict adherence to guidelines.
UP PCS 2025 Exam Centres and Candidate Details
The district has set up 39 examination centres for the upcoming PCS prelims. A total of 17,688 candidates are registered to appear in two shifts:
Officials emphasised the importance of integrity, confidentiality, and impartiality at all centres. Sector magistrates, zonal magistrates, static magistrates, centre administrators, co-centre administrators, and surveillance officers have been deployed to supervise the examination.
Examination Supervision and Arrangements
A pre-exam review is scheduled three days prior to the examination. Key focus areas include:
- Proper lighting arrangements at all centres
- Functionality of CCTV cameras
- Availability of electricity and drinking water
Additionally, 50 percent of invigilators have been appointed internally at the centres. Vivek Kumar Srivastava, Coordinator Supervisor, has been nominated for overall examination supervision. The district administration has instructed strict compliance with UPPSC guidelines to prevent any irregularities and ensure a fair examination for all candidates.
