UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 updated schedule has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh. The registration process for MBBS and BDS admissions begins on August 8, 2025, and is open to candidates who qualified in the NEET UG 2025 examination. The updated dates have been published on the official portal, upneet.gov.in. New student registrations are allowed, while already registered applicants can proceed with choice filling. The counselling process includes registration, merit list publication, choice filling, and seat allotment.

Process to Apply for UP NEET UG Counselling 2025

Students can refer to these steps to complete their registration process:

  • Visit the official website – upneet.gov.in.
  • Complete initial registration using programme, roll number, and NEET application number.
  • Log in with allotted credentials to access the application form.
  • Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Students are required to upload the required documents, including a photograph and a signature.
  • Students are required to pay the registration fee online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
  • Students must review all details before final submission.

 

Admission Process After UP NEET UG Registration 2025

After the registration is complete, the authorities will release the merit list based on NEET UG 2025 scores. Candidates must then participate in the choice-filling process within the specified dates. The seat allotment will be based on the preferences submitted, merit position, and seat availability in medical and dental colleges across the state. Those allotted seats in the first round are required to confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fee and reporting to the designated institute within the specified timeline. Failure to do so may lead to seat forfeiture and inclusion in subsequent counselling rounds.
