The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has commenced the UP Board Class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2026 from 18 February 2026. The annual examinations will continue through 12 March 2026, with students appearing in both morning and afternoon shifts across thousands of centres. This year, over 52 lakh candidates are registered to take the high school and intermediate exams, marking one of the largest participation levels in recent years.
UP Board 2026 Exam Schedule and Shift Timings
The UP Board examinations are being conducted in two daily shifts:
- Morning shift: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM
- Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
Both Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be held under pen-and-paper (offline) mode following this timing structure throughout the exam period. Students must arrive at their respective examination centres well before the reporting time. Late entry beyond the specified time will generally not be permitted, to ensure orderly conduct of exams.
