The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a revised UP Board Class 10 and 12 Exam Date Sheet 2026, introducing fresh changes in the Hindi and Sanskrit papers. The update was released on the official website upmsp.edu.in, confirming that the modifications were made to ensure smoother exam centre management.According to the board, the earlier schedule had both Class 10 and Class 12 Hindi examinations on the same shift, which created logistical challenges due to the high number of candidates appearing for the language paper. To prevent overcrowding and streamline security and seating arrangements, the board has now separated the Hindi exams of both classes into different shifts.
The UPMSP further noted that the Class 12 Sanskrit exam has also undergone a timing revision, shifting to a different schedule on the last day of the board examinations. Apart from these two subjects, no other paper has been changed, and the remaining subjects will follow the previously announced timetable. The UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations for 2026 are scheduled to begin on February 18, 2026, and will conclude on March 12, 2026. With these latest changes, the board aims to enhance exam management efficiency and reduce pressure on centres on the opening day of the exams. The official notice shared by UPMSP highlights that the decision came after reviewing the number of examinees and the availability of examination centres across districts. Hindi continues to be one of the biggest subjects in terms of student participation, prompting the board to ensure a shift-wise distribution for better oversight.
