The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has extended the Class 12 practical exams and marks upload deadline to 13 February 2026 to accommodate incomplete assessments in some schools. The extension is the last opportunity for conducting remaining practical exams and uploading practical marks online to ensure proper evaluation.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board/UPMSP) has revised the Class 12 practical examination schedule for the 2026 academic session, extending it to 13 February 2026 to complete pending practical assessments and allow time for online marks uploading. This decision was taken after some schools could not complete the practical exams or upload marks within the earlier scheduled dates.
Revised UP Board 12th Practical Exam Dates and Reason
Earlier, the UP Board Class 12 practical exams were scheduled in two phases:
- First Phase: January 24 to February 1, 2026
- Second Phase: February 2 to February 9, 2026
However, due to incomplete exams and delays in online marks submission at certain centres, the board has extended the schedule for both phases up to 13 February 2026. This extension provides schools and examiners with additional time to finish all exam sessions and upload marks to the official portal. Officials emphasised that this is the final opportunity for practical examiners and school principals to ensure all remaining practical exams are conducted and that marks are uploaded within the new deadline.
UP Board Class 12 Marks Upload and Administrative Responsibility
The board has directed responsible authorities to complete online marks submission by 13 February 2026. Any delays in uploading marks that affect students’ results will be considered a failure of supervision, and responsibility will be fixed on the concerned examiner, school principal and District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). This ensures that no student’s overall score or final certification is adversely affected due to administrative delays.
What UP Board Students Should Know?
Students appearing for UP Board Class 12 practical exams should note that:
- All pending practical assessments must be completed by 13 February 2026.
- Schools are expected to adhere to the updated deadline for marks submission.
- After completion of practical exams and marks upload, students will prepare for the main theory board exams scheduled from 18 February to 12 March 2026.
The extension aims to prevent academic loss or result discrepancies caused by incomplete practical assessments earlier in the schedule. Students and stakeholders are encouraged to contact their respective schools for specific schedules and internal instructions regarding practical exams and marks documentation.
