UP Board Class 10 and 12 Results 2026: Key Details and Updates

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has confirmed that the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the 2026 academic year will be released after April 15, 2026. While the exact date and time for the announcement remain to be disclosed, students can expect updates from the board soon.

UPMSP has successfully concluded the evaluation of approximately 3 crore answer sheets for over 52 lakh students. This extensive assessment took place between March 18, 2026, and April 1, 2026. To facilitate this massive undertaking, around 1.5 lakh teachers were engaged across more than 250 evaluation centres. Notably, within the first two days of the evaluation, over 21 lakh answer sheets were marked, showcasing the efficiency of the process.

Passing Criteria and Compartment Exams

To successfully pass the UP Board examinations, students are required to achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject as well as in the overall aggregate. Students who fail in more than two subjects will be required to take compartment examinations to improve their scores. It is essential for students to be aware of these criteria as they prepare for their results.

Internal Assessment and Important Dates

Schools were instructed to upload the internal assessment marks for Class 12 students by March 25, 2026. This internal assessment is a crucial component of the overall evaluation and can significantly impact a student's final results. Students should ensure that their schools have complied with this directive to avoid any discrepancies.

Beware of Cyber Fraud

In light of recent events, UPMSP has issued a warning to students and parents about potential cyber fraud schemes. These scams often involve misleading phone calls, messages, or emails that claim to offer early results or additional assistance. Students are advised to remain vigilant and not engage with such fraudulent communications, as similar incidents have been reported in previous years.

How to Verify Your Marksheets Online

Once the results are announced, students can access their Class 10 and Class 12 results through the official websites: upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. The process for verifying marksheets is straightforward:
