The Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam date has been officially announced. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes can register online once the application process begins in February.
Uni-GAUGE 2026 Exam Date and Registration Schedule
Era Foundation has confirmed that the Uni-GAUGE 2026 examination will be held on 9 May 2026. The online registration process for the exam will commence on 3 February 2026 through the official website. The Uni-GAUGE 2026 examination will be conducted as a single combined test along with COMEDK UGET 2026, allowing candidates to apply for both examinations through one application form by paying the applicable fee.
Uni-GAUGE 2026 Exam Mode and Pattern
The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across 200+ cities in India. The test will assess candidates’ understanding of core science subjects required for engineering admissions. The Uni-GAUGE 2026 question paper will consist of a total of 180 questions, divided equally among three subjects:
- Physics – 60 questions
- Chemistry – 60 questions
- Mathematics – 60 questions
Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the examination. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking.
Courses Offered Through Uni-GAUGE 2026
Uni-GAUGE serves as an entrance examination for admission to B.E and B.Tech programmes offered by participating Uni-GAUGE member universities across India. Candidates must apply online to be considered for admission through the exam.
Eligibility Criteria for Uni-GAUGE 2026
Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility conditions to apply for the examination. The eligibility requirements are outlined below.
- Candidates who have passed PUC / Class 12 / Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination
- Diploma holders seeking admission to engineering programmes
- Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the current academic year
- The qualifying examination must be recognised by the State or Central Government
Candidates involved in malpractice or impersonation in previous examinations are not eligible to apply for Uni-GAUGE.
