The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has officially released the UKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2026 notification on its official website. The recruitment drive aims to fill 808 Lecturer vacancies under the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education Service. UKPSC Lecturer Eligibility Criteria 2026
Applicants must meet the prescribed eligibility conditions related to education and age.
For educational qualification, candidates should hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university. Along with this, a B.Ed., L.T., or equivalent teaching qualification from a government-recognised institution is mandatory.
The age limit for UKPSC Lecturer posts is calculated as on July 01, 2025. The minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is 42 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Uttarakhand government rules.
UKPSC Lecturer Selection Process 2026
The selection process for Lecturer recruitment consists of two stages. Candidates must qualify in both stages to be considered for final selection.
The first stage is a subject-wise written examination. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for document verification. Final selection will be based on performance in the written examination and eligibility verification.
