UGC NET Qualifying Criteria and Cut-off Details
To qualify the UGC NET exam, candidates must meet the minimum cut-off criteria, which vary by category and subject. Typically, General and EWS category candidates need to secure at least 40% aggregate, while OBC (NCL), SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender candidates need 35% aggregate across both papers. The final category-wise and subject-wise cut-off marks will be published along with the result. Prorated scores and merit ranking will determine eligibility for Assistant Professor roles and Junior Research Fellowship awardees.
