UGC NET December 2025 City Slip Expected This Week, Check Details

The UGC NET December 2025 exam city intimation slip is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency within this week. Candidates registered for the December session are advised to regularly check the official portal as the city slip is released ahead of the admit card. The city intimation slip helps candidates identify their allotted examination city in advance, allowing them to plan travel and accommodation accordingly. It is important to note that the city slip is not the admit card and does not grant entry to the examination centre.

UGC NET December 2025 City Intimation Slip Release Timeline

As per the standard practice followed by the National Testing Agency, the UGC NET City Slip is issued approximately 10 days before the examination date. Since the December 2025 session is scheduled to begin soon, candidates can expect the city slip to be released shortly. The UGC NET December 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Based on this timeline, the city intimation slip is expected to be available by December 20, 2025, or December 21, 2025. Once released, candidates will be able to download the slip by logging in with their application number and date of birth.

Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card

Before downloading the city slip, candidates should clearly understand its purpose. The city intimation slip only provides information about the exam city and does not include details such as exam centre address, reporting time, or roll number. The UGC NET Admit Card 2025 will be released separately and is expected to be issued 3 to 4 days before the examination date. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card to the exam centre, as the city slip alone will not be accepted for entry.
