The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC CSIR-NET Answer Key 2025 soon on its official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility Test (NET) will be able to download the provisional answer key and verify their responses.

 

How to Download CSIR NET Answer Key 2025

Candidates can follow these steps to access the answer key:

  1. Visit the official CSIR NET website: csirnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link labeled "Joint CSIR-UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Open (Click Here)".
  3. Enter login details, including Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
  4. Click Submit to proceed.
  5. Locate the link "Download Answer Key" or "View/Challenge Answer Key".
  6. Review the provisional answer key and compare responses.
  7. Take a printout of the answer key for reference.

 

How to Raise Objections?

If discrepancies are found in the provisional answer key, candidates can raise objections within the specified time frame. Each objection must be submitted in the prescribed format with a fee of INR 200 per challenge. After evaluating all objections, NTA will release the final response sheet on the official website.

 

CSIR NET Marking Scheme

The CSIR NET exam follows a structured marking system:

  • Correct Response: 1 mark awarded
  • Unanswered Question: 0 marks
  • Incorrect Response: 0 marks (no negative marking)

The final CSIR NET score determines a candidate’s ranking on the merit list, which is used for the selection process for lectureship and JRF positions.
