UCEED and CEED 2026 Registration Ends Today with Late Fee

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close the registration window for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) and Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) today, November 10, 2025. The deadline for submission, including the late fee, is 5 PM. Both exams are scheduled for January 18, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The registration process for UCEED and CEED 2026 began on October 1, 2025, for candidates seeking admission to B.Des, M.Des, and PhD design programmes across participating institutes.

 

UCEED and CEED 2026 Registration Process

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for UCEED or CEED can complete their registration by following the steps mentioned below. The late fee of INR 500 applies in addition to the regular registration fee. Steps to Complete UCEED/CEED 2026 Application Form:

  1. Visit the official exam portal for UCEED or CEED.
  2. Complete the online registration using a valid email ID.
  3. Fill in personal and academic details carefully.
  4. Choose preferred test centres from the available list.
  5. Upload documents in the prescribed format.
  6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

UCEED and CEED 2026 Exam Date and Conducting Body

Both design entrance exams — UCEED for undergraduate programmes and CEED for postgraduate design admissions — will be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 18, 2026. The exams will be held in the morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM in multiple cities across India. Candidates who successfully register before the deadline will be issued admit cards in January 2026.
