Main Changes in Version 1.1 of UCEED 2026 Brochure
The update primarily focuses on Eligibility Criterion-3 (Section 7, Page 18):
- The statement “Candidates who have been allotted a B. Des. seat in any of the participating Institutes, and have NOT withdrawn from the admission process by the end of the withdrawal schedule after Round IV, are not eligible to appear for UCEED 2026 even if they are left with an option of second attempt” has been removed.
This revision allows candidates with previous B.Des. seat allotments to appear for UCEED 2026 under certain conditions.
Clarification on Qualifying Examination Requirements
The brochure also provides clearer guidelines regarding the qualifying examination, such as Class XII or equivalent. These clarifications help avoid confusion about eligibility based on academic qualifications.
