Why is Phase 2 Important for Students?

The Phase 2 seat allotment is particularly significant for candidates who:

• Did not receive a seat in the first round of counselling.
• Wish to upgrade their previously allotted college or course.
• Want to secure admission based on the latest availability of seats.

Experts suggest that the second phase often provides better chances for candidates, as some seats are vacated by students who withdraw or opt for higher preferences.

Next Steps After Allotment

• Students must download their allotment letter from the official portal once the result is declared.
• Reporting to the college within the specified time is mandatory.
• If a candidate wishes to participate in further rounds (if announced), they must follow TGCHE instructions carefully.
