The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced that the TS Inter Board Exams 2026 for both first-year and second-year students will begin on February 25, 2026, and conclude on March 18, 2026. The board confirmed that all examinations will be held in pen-and-paper mode across the state. According to TSBIE Secretary S. TSBIE to Conduct Inter Exams in Morning Session Only
As per the official update, all theory examinations will be conducted in a single morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The same schedule applies to both first-year and second-year students. This uniform timing aims to ensure smooth coordination between examination centers and evaluation teams across Telangana.
TS Intermediate Practical Exams 2026 in January
Before the theory exams, practical examinations are expected to commence in the first week of January 2026. This year, the board has introduced a key change — first-year students will also participate in external practical exams for the first time, a format earlier reserved only for second-year students. This move is intended to strengthen hands-on learning and ensure consistency in assessment across both academic years.
