TS Inter Exam 2026: TGBIE Revises Fees, Removes 5-Year Rule

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced major reforms for the 2026 Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE). The board has withdrawn the five-year restriction for failed students and revised the examination fee structure for both first and second-year candidates. Additionally, the last date to pay the exam fees has been extended to November 14, 2025.

TGBIE Removes 5-Year Rule for Failed Students

In a major relief to long-standing candidates, the TGBIE has revoked the five-year limit that previously prevented students from reappearing after a long gap. With this update, candidates can now reappear for both first-year and second-year papers irrespective of when they last attempted the exams. This reform aims to provide a fair chance for students who wish to complete their intermediate education and improve their performance without time constraints.

TS Inter Exam Fee 2026 Revised
