According to the official notification, the TS EDCET 2026 registration will begin on 23 February 2026 and the last date for submission without a late fee is 18 April 2026. Candidates must complete the online application by this date to avoid last-minute issues. The TS EDCET 2026 exam date has been scheduled for 12 May 2026, and it is expected to be conducted in online computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Eligibility criteria are specified in the official TS EDCET notification

The notification outlines the basic eligibility requirements for candidates. Applicants are generally required to hold a recognised undergraduate degree from a recognised university with a minimum prescribed percentage in aggregate marks. Specific eligibility criteria, including age and qualifying marks, are detailed in the notification itself and should be checked carefully before applying. Candidates from various educational backgrounds planning to enter BEd courses should ensure they meet these standards before attempting to register.

Candidates can apply online through the official portal

Students seeking admission to BEd programmes must fill out the TS EDCET 2026 application form only through the official website edcet.tgche.ac.in. The application process is fully online and requires candidates to enter personal, academic and contact information accurately. Applicants are advised to prepare scanned copies of required documents, including educational certificates, identity proof and photographs, well before initiating the registration process.

The TS EDCET admit card is expected to be released before the exam

The admit card for TS EDCET 2026 is expected to be issued a few days prior to the exam date and will be available for download on the official website using the candidate’s login credentials. Students should download and print the hall ticket ahead of time to avoid issues on the exam day. The admit card will specify the exam centre, reporting time, shift details and other crucial instructions.

After the exam, answer key and response sheet release will follow as per schedule

Following the TS EDCET 2026 exam, the preliminary answer key and candidate response sheet are expected to be released online. Candidates will have the opportunity to review the official answer key and raise objections within the specified window, if necessary. Once objections are reviewed, the final answer key will be issued and results will be declared based on corrected evaluations.

TS EDCET 2026 will lead to counselling and seat allotment for BEd programmes

Successfully qualifying in the TS EDCET 2026 exam will make candidates eligible for counselling and seat allotment in participating BEd colleges across Telangana. Counselling schedules, merit lists and seat allocation procedures will be announced in due course after the result declaration. Students should monitor edcet.tgche.ac.in regularly for official updates regarding counselling and further admission processes.
