TS EAMCET 2026 Test Zones Frozen In Five Districts After Application Surge. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad has announced that several test zones for the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test have been frozen. The decision was taken after a sharp rise in applications exceeded the available capacity at examination centres. The frozen zones include Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad, and Nizamabad. Candidates applying for the exam will no longer be able to select these districts as preferred test zones during the registration process.

TS EAMCET 2026 Test Zones Frozen Due to Capacity Limits

The university took this step after receiving a large number of applications from these regions, which exceeded the available capacity of exam centres in those districts. As a result, the authorities removed these zones from the list of selectable options in the online application form. Officials clarified that candidates who are completing the application process now will not see these zones in the registration portal. This measure aims to ensure proper management of exam centres and avoid overcrowding during the entrance examination. According to available data, the number of applications has already approached around 96,000 registrations, indicating strong participation in the entrance test this year.
