The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) has officially announced the examination schedule for Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (Intermediate) for the April–May 2026 session. The timetable has been released under the School Education Department of the Telangana government. According to the official notification, the theory examinations will be conducted from April 20 to April 27, 2026, while internal practical examinations will take place from April 28 to May 5, 2026.
The TOSS theory examinations will be conducted in two shifts every day
As per the released schedule, TOSS will conduct examinations in two daily shifts. The forenoon session will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the afternoon session will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The first day of the examination cycle will begin with language papers, including Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Marathi, and Kannada, scheduled in the morning session.
SSC and Intermediate students will appear for English and other core subjects on different dates
On April 21, 2026, SSC students will appear for the English examination in the forenoon and Indian Culture and Heritage in the afternoon. On the same day, Intermediate learners will take the English paper in the morning and Sociology in the second shift. In the subsequent days, SSC students will write examinations for subjects such as Mathematics and Business Studies, while Intermediate candidates will appear for Political Science, Chemistry, and other core academic papers between April 24 and April 25.
The practical examinations will be conducted after completion of theory papers
The internal practical examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 students will be held from April 28 to May 5, 2026. These assessments will be conducted at designated centres as per instructions issued to affiliated institutions. Students are advised to remain in touch with their study centres for subject-wise practical schedules and reporting instructions.
