TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2025 Released: Topics & Exam Pattern Explained

The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has released the TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2025 along with the updated exam pattern for the upcoming Sub-Inspector recruitment cycle. The syllabus is now available on the official website, tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The written examination includes the Tamil Eligibility Test and the Main Written Examination, followed by physical tests and viva-voce. The recruitment drive covers SI vacancies under Taluk, Armed Reserve and the Tamil Nadu Special Forces. The board has advised aspirants to review the complete syllabus before beginning preparation, as the written test will carry questions from Tamil grammar, general knowledge, reasoning, psychology, and police laws.

 

TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2025: Overview

The syllabus has been structured to assess language proficiency, general awareness and analytical ability. The exam will be conducted offline in Tamil and English. The selection process includes the Tamil Eligibility Test, Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test and Viva Voce.

Tamil Eligibility Test (Part I) Syllabus

The Tamil Eligibility Test is compulsory for all candidates. It is based on the Class ten Tamil syllabus and evaluates grammar, literature and Tamil heritage. The test includes three sections: Grammar, Literature and Tamil Scholars.

A minimum score of forty per cent is required to qualify for Part II.

 

Main Written Examination (Part II) Syllabus

The main exam includes General Knowledge, Psychology and, for departmental candidates, Police Subjects. The questions are objective in nature.

TNUSRB SI Exam Pattern 2025

Part I carries one hundred marks. Candidates must secure forty per cent to move to Part II.
