TNTET Paper 2 Exam 2025 Held Today; Key Guidelines for Candidates

Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) is conducting the TNTET Paper 2 Exam 2025 today, November 16. The test is being held in a single shift for candidates aiming to qualify for teaching positions in classes six to eight. The board has advised all candidates to reach their allotted exam centres well before the gate-closing time to avoid denial of entry. The Paper 2 examination is scheduled from 10 AM to 1 PM for general candidates, while candidates under the PwD category will be allowed an extended duration until 2 PM. TRB has already issued hall tickets, and the board has reiterated that no candidate will be permitted inside the centre without a valid TNTET admit card and a government-issued photo ID.

Guidelines to Follow at TNTET 2025 Exam Centre

The TRB has issued mandatory instructions that candidates must follow during the exam.

  • Carry a printed copy of the TNTET hall ticket along with an original ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID or Passport.
  • Entry will not be permitted without these documents.
  • Reach the exam centre before the reporting time to avoid last-minute rush.
  • Follow instructions given by invigilators and centre staff.
  • Do not leave the examination hall before 1 PM.
  • Avoid carrying restricted items like electronic gadgets or study material inside the exam hall.

The board has also asked candidates to maintain discipline and cooperate with security personnel during entry and verification.

 

What Happens After the TNTET 2025 Exam?

Once the Paper 2 exam concludes, several private coaching institutes are expected to release analysis and unofficial answer keys based on student feedback. These unofficial versions are only for reference.The official TNTET 2025 answer key will be released later on the TRB website. Once published, candidates will be able to download the provisional answer key by using their registered login details. The board is also expected to open a challenge window, allowing candidates to raise objections before the final answer key is issued. TRB will release the results after completing the evaluation process. Candidates will be able to check their TNTET Paper 2 result online.
