TNPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2025 Released; Objection Window Open

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Combined Civil Services Examination–II (Group 2 and 2A services). Candidates who appeared for the preliminary exam on 28 September 2025 can now download the answer key from the official website tnpsc.gov.in.

 

TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Exam 2025 Overview

The Group 2 preliminary exam was conducted in a single shift. A total of 5.53 lakh candidates had registered for the exam, which is being held to fill 645 vacancies across various Group 2 and 2A posts in Tamil Nadu state services.

 

Objection Window for TNPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2025

TNPSC has opened the objection window for candidates to raise grievances regarding the provisional answer key. The objections can be submitted until 14 October 2025, 5:45 PM.

 

However, the Commission has noted that:

  • Question 93 in the General English paper and
  • Question 101 in the General Studies paper

are not open to direct challenge as they have already been referred to an expert committee. Candidates may still submit objections for these questions with proper supporting evidence, as clarified in the official notice.

 

Steps to Submit Objections

Candidates can follow the steps below to raise objections:

  1. Visit the official TNPSC website tnpsc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “Answer Key” section on the homepage.
  3. Click on the relevant link for Group 2 Answer Key 2025.
  4. Log in using your credentials to view the answer key.
  5. Follow the instructions to submit objections along with supporting documents.
  6. Submit challenges before 14 October 2025, 5:45 PM.

After the objection window closes, TNPSC will review all submissions and release the final answer key. The results of the Group 2 Prelims will be declared based on this final key.

 

Candidates are advised to download the answer key, compare it with their responses, and estimate their preliminary scores. Regular updates regarding the next stages of the selection process will be posted on the TNPSC website.
