TNPSC Annual Calendar 2026 Released, Group 4 Vacancies Increased

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the TNPSC annual calendar 2026 along with an update on Group 4 vacancies. The commission has added 645 new posts, increasing the total TNPSC Group 4 recruitment 2025vacancies to 5,307. This includes posts such as Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant, Typist, Stenographer, Forest Guard and other roles.

TNPSC earlier announced 3,935 vacancies, followed by an addendum of 727 posts on September 26. The latest addendum has added another 645 vacancies, bringing significant opportunities for aspirants across the state. TNPSC said that, compared with the average 3,560 vacancies filled in previous years, an additional 1,541 positions will be filled in 2025, excluding Forester and Forest Guard posts.

TNPSC Cautions Candidates on NOC Requirement

The commission has issued a clear instruction for candidates appearing for TNPSC Group 4 certificate verification. Candidates who were already in government service while applying online, or those who joined government service after applying, must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during original certificate verification. TNPSC stated that applications will be rejected and candidates will not be allowed for counselling if the NOC is not produced.
