TNDTE Result 2025 Out for Typewriting, Shorthand & Accountancy

The Department of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamil Nadu, has declared the TNDTE Result 2025 for the Government Technical Examinations (GTE) held in August. The results cover Commerce Subjects, including Typewriting, Shorthand, and Accountancy, and are now available on the official portals — tndtegteonline.in and dte.tn.gov.in. Candidates can access their marks and qualifying status using their registration number and date of birth through the login page.
Over One Lakh Candidates Qualify in GTE August 2025
According to official statistics, 1,80,743 candidates registered for the GTE August 2025 session. Of them, 1,74,567 appeared for the examinations, and 1,10,884 students successfully passed. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 63.52%, reflecting steady performance across Commerce subjects. Out of the total passed candidates, 47,098 secured distinction, 42,487 obtained first class, and 21,299 achieved second class. Meanwhile, 63,473 candidates did not qualify this year. This performance marks a positive trend in the GTE Commerce results, especially in the Typewriting and Shorthand streams, which continue to witness strong participation from students and working professionals across Tamil Nadu.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download their TNDTE GTE August 2025 scorecard online:
- Visit the official website – tndtegteonline.in or dte.tn.gov.in.
- Click on the link “View GTE August 2025 (Typewriting, Shorthand & Accountancy) Results.”
- Enter the registration number and date of birth in the given fields.
- The TNDTE Result 2025 will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the result PDF for reference or institutional verification.

TNDTE GTE 2025 Exam Overview
The Government Technical Examinations (GTE) are conducted by the DOTE to assess proficiency in various Commerce-based vocational subjects. These examinations are widely taken by students pursuing technical education and professionals seeking skill certification. As per the official schedule, the Typewriting exams for pre-junior, junior, senior, and high-speed grades were conducted on August 30 and 31, 2025. The Shorthand exams (junior, intermediate, senior, and high-speed) were held on August 23 and 24, while Accountancy (junior and senior) took place on August 25.
