TIFR GS 2026 result has been officially released, and the list of shortlisted candidates is being published course-wise on the admissions portal. Candidates who qualified in the entrance examination can now check interview schedules and download the shortlisted candidates’ PDFs online. The entrance examination is conducted by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research for admission to integrated and doctoral programmes.
TIFR GS 2026 Interview Dates for Mathematics Programmes
After the declaration of results on 30 January 2026, the institute began releasing interview schedules for various centres. The interview dates announced so far are given below.
- TIFR Mumbai – Mathematics: 15 March 2026
- Centre for Applicable Mathematics, Bengaluru – Mathematics: 25 March 2026 to 27 March 2026
- International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Bengaluru – Mathematics: To be announced

The shortlisted candidates list is released separately for each programme and centre. The PDF contains details such as registration number, candidate name and programme applied for. To download the list, candidates must follow the steps outlined below.

About TIFR GS Entrance Examination
The TIFR Graduate Studies entrance examination is conducted for admission to Integrated MSc–PhD, PhD and MSc programmes in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science.
