TGBIE to send Inter hall tickets 2026 to parents via WhatsApp as part of a new initiative to strengthen transparency and parental involvement. The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has confirmed that hall ticket previews will be shared directly on registered mobile numbers.
The move applies to both Intermediate first-year and second-year students appearing for the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026. The board stated that this system will help parents verify student details well in advance.
TGBIE Inter Hall Ticket 2026 Preview Facility Details
The board has introduced a preview facility to allow verification before the final use of the hall ticket. A download link for the preview hall ticket will be sent through WhatsApp to parents.
Access details differ for first-year and second-year students. First-year students must enter their SSC roll number and date of birth, while second-year students must use their first-year hall ticket number and date of birth.
For second-year students, the preview hall ticket will also display first-year marks for passed subjects, details of failed subjects, if any, and the complete examination schedule. This will help parents understand the academic status clearly.
Instructions for Parents on Hall Ticket Verification
Parents have been advised to carefully verify all information printed on the preview hall ticket. This includes subjects, medium, group, photograph, signature, and personal details.
In case of any discrepancy, parents should immediately contact the college principal or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO)/nodal officer of the concerned district. The board has stressed that corrections must be reported at the earliest to avoid issues during the examination.
Telangana Inter Practical Exam Schedule 2026
The board has also announced the schedule for Intermediate practical examinations. Colleges and students have been instructed to prepare accordingly. Below is the official practical examination schedule announced by TGBIE:

Purpose Behind WhatsApp-Based Hall Ticket System
TGBIE stated that the WhatsApp-based communication system was introduced considering the widespread use of smartphones among parents. The initiative aims to ensure timely access to hall tickets, early identification of errors, and better coordination between parents, students, colleges, and district authorities.
Officials believe this system will reduce last-minute confusion and help in the smooth conduct of the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026. Parents and students have been advised to regularly check WhatsApp messages and act promptly if corrections are required. The board is expected to issue further instructions related to theory examination schedules separately.
