TG EAPCET 2026 Registration Open; Over 96,000 Applications, 5 Test Zones Removed

TG EAPCET 2026 registrations are currently open on the official website eapcet.tgche.ac.in. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has received 96,892 applications so far since the online application process started on 19 February 2026.

The entrance examination, previously known as TS EAMCET, is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses such as B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharm, PharmD, B.Sc, B.FSc and BVSc in institutions across Telangana.

According to the latest data released by authorities, the majority of applicants have registered for the engineering stream. The current registration statistics are provided below:

Every year, approximately 3 lakh candidates register for the state-level entrance examination.

TG EAPCET 2026 Application Last Date

Candidates can submit the TG EAPCET 2026 application form without a late fee until 4 April 2026. However, the application window will remain open until 2 May 2026 with a late fee. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid paying additional charges.

Five Test Zones Removed from Centre Choice List

Authorities have removed five test zones from the centre preference list due to capacity limits. The following districts will no longer appear in the centre selection list while filling out the application form:

• Mahabubnagar
• Nalgonda
• Sangareddy
• Adilabad
• Nizamabad

These test centres have already reached their maximum capacity due to the high number of applications received. While filling out the application form, candidates are required to select their preferred test zones. The final test centre is allotted based on the candidate’s preference and seat availability in that zone.

TG EAPCET 2026 Exam Dates and Shift Timings

The TG EAPCET 2026 examination will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of TGCHE. The exam will be conducted in multiple days for different streams.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day:

• Forenoon Shift: 09:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Afternoon Shift: 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM

TG EAPCET 2026 Admit Card Release Date

The TG EAPCET 2026 admit card will be released separately for different streams. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket on the following dates:

• 23 April 2026 – Agriculture & Pharmacy stream
• 27 April 2026 – Engineering stream

Registered candidates will need their login credentials to download the admit card from the official portal. TG EAPCET is one of the major state-level entrance examinations conducted for admission to engineering, agriculture and pharmacy programmes offered by universities and colleges across Telangana.
