TG EAPCET 2026 Engineering Exam Dates Announced by TGCHE

TG EAPCET 2026 engineering exam dates have been officially announced by the Telangana Council of Higher Education. As per the short notice released by the exam authority, the entrance examination will be conducted on May 9, May 10, and May 11, 2026.

 

The engineering entrance test will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. TG EAPCET is the new name of TS EAMCET and will be used for all official purposes from 2026 onwards.

 

TG EAPCET 2026 Official Notification Details

The short notification released by TGCHE confirms only the exam dates for the engineering stream. The council has stated that the detailed notification will be released separately.

About TG EAPCET (Formerly TS EAMCET)

TG EAPCET is a state-level common entrance test conducted every year for admission to undergraduate professional courses in Telangana. The examination is held for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy streams across participating colleges in the state.

 

The entrance exam consists of 160 objective-type questions. There is no negative marking, which allows candidates to attempt all questions without penalty. The overall difficulty level of the exam is considered moderate based on previous years’ trends.
