The Telangana Education Department has announced that several schools will remain closed on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in connection with the ongoing Village Revenue Officer (VRO) recruitment examinations. The affected schools are being used as examination and polling centres, and students of these institutions will not have classes on these days.
Previous Holidays for VRO Exams
Earlier, holidays were observed on December 11, 13, and 14, 2025, for the same reason. Schools that are not involved in the examination process will continue to operate as usual, ensuring that academic activities for unaffected students are not disrupted.
Resumption of Normal Academic Activities
Officials have confirmed that normal classes and academic activities will resume once all examination duties are completed. No further holidays are planned beyond the announced dates, ensuring that the school calendar remains on track for the remainder of the academic term.
Impact on Students and Examination Planning
The closure of these schools allows for smooth conduct of the VRO recruitment examinations, minimizing distractions and maintaining proper examination protocols. Students from the affected schools are advised to plan accordingly and stay updated through official school communications.
