Telangana NEET UG 2025 Counselling Resumes from 11 Sep, Submit Doc

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has resumed the Telangana NEET UG 2025 counselling following the Supreme Court’s clearance of the four-year domicile rule. Eligible candidates must submit parental employment certificates in person—by 5 PM on 11 September 2025—to complete the verification process.

Resumption of Counselling and Domicile Rule Clarification

Counselling was halted after legal disputes over the four-year residency eligibility. The Supreme Court has reinstated the Telangana rule, requiring candidates to have studied or resided in the state for four consecutive years up to Class 12, but included exemptions for children of certain service-based occupations. These include children of Telangana state government employees, All India Service officers, defence personnel, and employees of state-owned corporations or PSUs with transferable posts. Thus, the counselling process is now fully back on track.

Steps for Parental Employment Certificate Submission

Now eligible under the domicile exceptions, candidates must follow these steps for verification. These candidates must present documentation at KNRUHS to validate eligibility.

• Visit KNRUHS, Warangal, in person by 5 PM on 11 September 2025.
• Carry the following documents:
  • Parental employment certificate
  • Printed copy of the NEET UG 2025 application
  • Study certificates and an Aadhar card
• Only those under the defined exemption categories can complete this verification and proceed with counselling.
