The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the tentative timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026, which will be conducted in February and March 2026. The Board has also issued important dates for both practical and theory examinations for first- and second-year students. According to the official notice, the practical examinations are scheduled to begin on February 2, 2026, and continue till February 21, 2026, including Sundays. The exams will be conducted in two sessions daily — the morning session from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and the afternoon session from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
TGBIE Intermediate 2026 Practical Exam Schedule
The Board has confirmed that English practical examinations for the first-year students will be held on January 21, 2026 (Wednesday), while second-year students will take their English practicals on January 22, 2026 (Thursday). In a special provision, the TGBIE has stated that if any of the Intermediate practical exam dates coincide with the JEE Main 2026 schedule, the concerned students will be given alternative arrangements to appear for their practicals without losing their attempt.

The theory examinations for the first-year students will be conducted from February 25 to March 17, 2026, while the second-year examinations will be held from February 26 to March 18, 2026.
