The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially released the tentative timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026. The announcement was made on October 31, 2025, confirming both the practical and theory exam schedules for first and second-year students.
TS Inter 2026 Practical Exam Dates Announced
According to the schedule, the practical examinations will be held from February 2 to February 21, 2026, including Sundays. These exams will be conducted in two sessions daily—from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The English practical exams will be held separately:
- First-year English practicals: January 21, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Second-year English practicals: January 22, 2026 (Thursday)
TSBIE has also clarified that in case the Intermediate Practical Exam 2026 dates overlap with the JEE Main 2026 schedule, students appearing for JEE will be provided with special provisions or alternate arrangements to attend both examinations without conflict.
TS Inter 2026 Theory Exam Schedule
The theory examinations for the upcoming academic year will commence soon after the practicals conclude.
- First-year exams: February 25 to March 17, 2026
- Second-year exams: February 26 to March 18, 2026
The exams will be conducted across all recognized junior colleges under TSBIE supervision, and the board will issue hall tickets ahead of the examination period.
Board’s Focus on Coordination and Student Convenience
The Telangana Intermediate Board stated that the timetable has been carefully prepared to avoid clashes with national-level entrance exams like JEE Main and to ensure a smooth conduct of the academic assessment process. Schools and colleges have been directed to make the necessary arrangements for conducting both practical and theory exams efficiently. The release of the Telangana Inter Exam 2026 timetable provides students ample time for systematic preparation before the final examinations begin in February.
