Anna University has not yet released the TANCET 2026 registration schedule for MBA and MCA admissions. The delay is reportedly linked to administrative issues, with registration expected to begin soon based on past trends.
TANCET 2026 registration is yet to begin, even as candidates await official confirmation from the exam authority. The entrance test is conducted annually for admission to MBA and MCA programmes offered by colleges in Tamil Nadu. The application process will be conducted online once the official notification is released.
TANCET 2026 Registration: Latest Status
As of now, Anna University has not announced the TANCET 2026 registration date. The application link will be activated on the official examination website once the notification and information brochure are published. In the previous academic session, the registration process commenced in the last week of January, with the deadline falling in late February. Based on this trend, the registration window for TANCET 2026 is expected to open shortly.
Why Is TANCET 2026 Registration Delayed?
The university has not officially confirmed the reason behind the delay. However, several developments are believed to have contributed to the situation. Faculty-related protests at constituent colleges have reportedly disrupted routine academic and administrative activities. Temporary assistant professors associated with multiple colleges have raised concerns over service-related issues. In addition, administrative challenges within the university structure are also being cited as a possible factor. These issues may have impacted the timely release of the entrance examination schedule. Another contributing factor could be demands from aspirants seeking the TANCET exam to be conducted later in the academic calendar. Many candidates prefer a May examination window, as undergraduate results are usually declared between May and June.

A review of past registration timelines provides insight into the expected schedule for the upcoming session.
