Tamil Nadu NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 Allotment Out; Reporting Starts Tomorrow

The NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 seat allotment result has been released on August 13, 2026. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the provisional allotment result for DM, MCh, and DrNB Super Speciality courses.

Candidates who took part in Round 2 can now check their allotted seats. The result is available through the MCC counselling portal.

The college reporting process will start tomorrow, August 14. Candidates who receive a seat must report to their allotted institute within the given deadline.

Why Tamil Nadu Seats Are Important in Round 2

The Round 2 counselling has a special connection with Tamil Nadu super-speciality seats.

The counselling process was delayed because of a legal dispute involving vacant in-service super-speciality seats in Tamil Nadu. The issue was taken up before the Supreme Court.

Following the court's directions, MCC added 153 vacant Tamil Nadu in-service seats to the Round 2 seat matrix. This increased the number of seats available to candidates during the counselling process.

A total of 2,423 DM, MCh and DrNB Super Speciality seats were offered in Round 2.

NEET SS Round 2 Reporting Starts August 14

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must report to their designated institute from August 14 to August 20, 2026.

Candidates should check the final allotment result and download the allotment letter before reporting to the allotted college.

They should also check the instructions issued by their allotted institute. Document verification and other admission formalities may need to be completed during the reporting period.

What Candidates Should Do After NEET SS Round 2 Allotment?

Candidates should first check their name, rank, allotted institute, and course in the result.

If there is an error, they should report the discrepancy to MCC within the specified deadline.
