All eligible candidates must complete registration and fee payment by the deadline to participate in MD/MS/DNB seat allotments.
Fee structure, security deposit, and category-wise exemptions in TN NEET PG Counselling 2025
Below are the key financial requirements for registration and participation:
- The application fee is ₹3,000, and the registration fee is ₹1,000.
- Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories in Tamil Nadu are exempt from paying the application fee, though the registration fee must still be paid.
Security deposit amounts differ by type of college/quota:
The security deposit will be refunded if the candidate does not obtain a seat, within three months of the counselling process ending.
Bond policy and discontinuation fee rules for TN Medical PG seats
Candidates must adhere to the following under the bond policy and discontinuation rules:
- Candidates appointed under the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), or in local bodies must have completed a minimum of two years of service by 31 March 2025.
- If a candidate discontinues the course after the allowed resignation period, a penalty of ₹15,00,000 must be paid. For PG diploma courses, the discontinuation fee is ₹10,00,000, and for other degree courses it is ₹15,00,000.
