The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Telangana has officially announced updated deadlines for the SSC Public Exam 2026 fee payment. The revision affects regular and vocational candidates appearing for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Public Exam 2026
To appear for the SSC Public Exam 2026 in Telangana:
- Candidates must register via their school/headmaster under the DGE.
- Fee structure: For all subjects — Rs 125; for up to three subjects — Rs 110. In vocational courses, an additional Rs 60 is applicable.
- Age or academic percentage criteria specific to vocational or regular stream as per DGE norms.
SSC Public Exam 2026 Application Process
The application (fee payment) process is conducted via the schools via the DGE portal as follows:
- Schools/headmasters collect the prescribed fee from students by 20 Nov (without penalty).
- Schools remit the collected fee to DGE (without late fee) by 21 November.
- If remitted after 20 Nov but by 29 Nov, a late fee of Rs 50 applies. By 11 Dec, the late fee of Rs 200 applies.
SSC Public Exam 2026 Exam Pattern (Indicative)
- Mode: Offline written examination under DGE norms.
- Subjects: Regular and vocational courses as per stream.
- Duration, marking scheme and number of questions will follow the standard DGE structure (to be issued in a separate detailed notification).
SSC Public Exam 2026 Result and Counselling
After completion of the exam, the DGE Telangana will release the results on its official website. Qualified candidates will be eligible for senior secondary/higher education admissions in affiliated colleges and schools. Monitor DGE updates and your school notifications.
