SSC MTS 2026 Exam Date Out: CBT Starts from 4 February 2026

SSC MTS 2026 exam date has been officially announced by the Staff Selection Commission. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) posts will begin on 4 February 2026. Candidates who have applied for the recruitment can select their preferred exam slot from 15 January 2026 onwards before the admit card is issued. The SSC MTS 2026 examination schedule forms part of the broader SSC Calendar 2026 released by the commission, covering multiple recruitment tests slated for the year.

The self-slot booking facility allows candidates to choose their preferred exam city, date and shift within the scheduled period. If a candidate does not book a slot, SSC will allot one automatically.

 

How to Book Slot and Download SSC MTS 2026 Admit Card

Candidates appearing for the SSC MTS 2026 exam must complete the slot booking process first, after which the admit card will be issued with the booked schedule. The CBT admit card will be released 2–3 days before the exam date for each chosen slot. To complete slot booking and download the admit card, candidates should:

  1. Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the slot booking section available under latest exam updates.
  3. Enter Registration ID and password to access the booking portal.
  4. Select preferred exam date, city and shift.
  5. Save the chosen schedule.
  6. Download the SSC MTS 2026 admit card when activated.

The admit card will include essential details such as candidate name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, and exam centre address.
