The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city intimation slip and admit card dates for the JE 2025 Paper‑II and CHSL 2025 Tier‑2 exams. The JE exam is slated for 7 April 2026 and the CHSL tier‑2 exam for 10 April 2026, with slips and hall tickets to follow.

SSC JE & CHSL Tier‑2 2025 Admit Card Dates 2026 – City Slip & Exams

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued important updates for candidates appearing in the Junior Engineer (JE) Paper‑II and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier‑2 exams for the 2025 recruitment cycle. Both exams will be conducted in April 2026, with the city intimation slips and admit cards scheduled for release on the official SSC website ssc.gov.in.

Exam Schedule: Dates for JE and CHSL Tier‑2

SSC has communicated the exam dates along with the timeline for release of city information and admit cards:

The city fare slips provide candidates with early information about the exam city, date and tentative shift timing, though they do not serve as the actual admit card. Hall tickets with full exam centre details will be issued closer to the exam dates and are mandatory for entry.

How to Download City Intimation Slip and Admit Card

Candidates must download these documents from the official SSC portal by logging in using:

  • Registration number
  • Password / Date of Birth

Steps to access slips and hall tickets:

  1. Visit ssc.gov.in.
  2. Go to the Admit Card / Latest Notices section.
  3. Select the relevant exam link (JE Paper‑II or CHSL Tier‑2).
  4. Enter login credentials and captcha.
  5. Download and save the slip or admit card PDF.

Own Scribe and Assistive Facilities

The SSC announcement also reiterates guidelines regarding the own scribe facility for candidates who are eligible or require assistance during the exam. Eligible candidates must ensure that their One‑Time Registration (OTR) for a scribe is completed within specified deadlines to avoid any last‑minute issues.

Candidates are advised to:

  • Verify all details on the city slip and admit card carefully.
  • Arrive at the exam centre well ahead of the reporting time.
  • Carry valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) along with the admit card.
  • Follow the exam rules and prohibited items list released by SSC.

These dates and instructions are critical for candidates in the recruitment process for JE and CHSL posts under SSC. Aspirants should keep checking the official SSC portal for any updates or changes to the schedule.
