The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released information on the withheld results of selected candidates from the SSC GD Constable 2025 final result. A total of 2,003 candidates had their results withheld, and these have been sent to the CRPF nodal officer for verification and further proceedings.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has provided a detailed update on the withheld result information for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2025. Candidates whose results were initially withheld in the final result list are now being processed for verification by the relevant nodal authority.
Background: SSC GD Constable Final Result 2025
The final result for SSC GD Constable 2025 was declared earlier, with thousands of applicants qualifying for appointment across various posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, NCB, SSF and Assam Rifles. The result included shortlisted candidates as well as some withheld results pending review. Out of the total candidates, 2,003 results were withheld due to pending checks or verification requirements. These withheld result details have now been formally released by SSC in a sealed format to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) nodal officer, who will conduct further verification with the concerned agencies.
What “Withheld Result” Means in SSC GD
A withheld result in SSC recruitment typically indicates that although a candidate may have qualified on merit, the commission is unable to immediately confirm the result due to pending administrative, legal or verification issues. These could relate to documentation, eligibility clarification or external requirements from security agencies. The CRPF nodal officer will now review the withheld cases and determine the outcomes based on verification.
How Candidates Can Check Their SSC GD Result Status?
Candidates whose results were withheld as part of the SSC GD 2025 final result can check their current status by following these steps:
- Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the login option at the top of the homepage.
- Sign in using your SSC OTR (One Time Registration) ID and password.
- View your result status and any additional updates from the commission.
The commission will communicate further details directly to affected candidates, including notifications regarding the dispatch of sealed envelopes and instructions for any additional verification requirements.
SSC GD: What Happens Next?
Once the CRPF nodal officer completes the verification process, the withheld results may be updated to reflect final status. Candidates should monitor official SSC notifications and emails for confirmations or instructions on next steps. Candidates who appeared in the recruitment are advised to regularly check the ssc.gov.in portal for updates on result status, scorecards and other official announcements.
