The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC Exam Calendar 2026–27 shortly. The calendar will outline tentative notification dates, application timelines, and exam schedules for key recruitment exams including CGL, CPO, CHSL, MTS, GD Constable and Stenographer. Once released, the SSC exam calendar will help candidates plan their preparation in advance by providing a year-long overview of upcoming examinations.

The SSC exam calendar provides details such as:

Every year, SSC conducts recruitment for more than 80,000 vacancies across posts open to 10th-pass, 12th-pass and graduate-level candidates.

 

Tentative SSC Exam Schedule 2026–27

Based on previous trends, the expected timeline for major SSC exams is as follows:

  • SSC CGL: Notification in May 2026, applications till June 2026
  • SSC CPO: Notification in July 2026, applications till August 2026
  • SSC CHSL: Notification in August 2026, applications till September 2026
  • SSC Stenographer: Notification in October 2026, applications till November 2026
  • SSC MTS: Notification in November 2026, applications till December 2026
  • SSC GD Constable: Notification in December 2026, applications till January 2027

These dates are tentative and will be confirmed once the official calendar is published.
