SSC CPO 2025 Last Chance for Slot Selection, Window Closes Dec 4

The Staff Selection Commission has given a final chance to candidates of the Delhi Police and CAPF Exam 2025 to select their preferred exam city. The SSC CPO 2025 slot selection window is now open and will remain active until 11 am on December 4, 2025. This option is available only through the official website ssc.gov.in.

This facility is meant for candidates who missed the original self-slotted window that closed on November 21. The Commission has confirmed that the city allocation for these candidates will be done on a best-effort basis.

SSC CPO 2025: Important Instructions for Candidates

SSC has clearly stated that this is the one-time slot selection opportunity for pending candidates. Those who still fail to select their city within the deadline will not be allowed to appear for the computer-based exam. Such candidates will also not receive the admit card for the test.

Meanwhile, candidates who completed the self-slotting within the earlier window have already received the SSC CPO city slip 2025.

SSC CPO Exam Dates and Recruitment Details

The SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted from December 9 to 12, 2025. The recruitment aims to fill 5,308 vacanciesacross Delhi Police and CAPF. The exam is being conducted in four stages:

• Paper 1
• PST/PET
• Paper 2
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Candidates are advised to complete the slot selection and follow the schedule carefully to avoid cancellation of candidature.

SSC MTS and Havaldar Vacancy Update 2025

Along with the CPO update, the Commission also released the tentative vacancy list for the SSC MTS (Non-Technical)and Havaldar posts under CBIC and CBN. The updated vacancy count as of November 27, 2025 stands at 7,948 posts. A brief vacancy distribution is given below:

• MTS (18–25 years category): 6,078 vacancies
• MTS (18–27 years category): 732 vacancies
• Havaldar (CBIC & CBN): 1,138 vacancies
