SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam City Slip Released for 2025

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the exam city intimation for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) Tier-II, which is set to take place on April 10, 2026. This announcement comes as a significant update for candidates preparing for this crucial examination, allowing them to check their designated exam city and make necessary arrangements in advance.

Candidates can now view their allotted exam city by logging into the official SSC portal at ssc.gov.in. The exam city details were made available starting from April 1, 2026. To access this information, candidates need to enter their credentials in the designated module on the website. This step is essential for ensuring that candidates are well-prepared for their upcoming examination.

Admit Card Release Timeline

In addition to the exam city slip, the SSC has announced that the admission certificate, which includes vital information such as the examination center, reporting time, and specific instructions for candidates, will be released on April 7, 2026. It is imperative for candidates to carry this admission certificate to the examination venue, as it serves as proof of eligibility to sit for the exam.

Changes in Scribe Registration Process

For candidates who require the assistance of a scribe, the SSC has implemented new regulations. All previous registrations submitted before November 5, 2025, have been discontinued. Candidates opting for the 'own scribe' facility must now complete a fresh registration process linked with Aadhaar authentication. This updated procedure aims to streamline the scribe registration process and ensure compliance with the latest guidelines.

  • Individuals willing to act as scribes must register on the Commission’s website.
  • Candidates must submit their scribe’s registration number to generate the scribe entry pass.
  • The maximum permissible age limit for scribes will adhere to the updated policy.

Important Deadlines and Instructions

Candidates utilizing the own scribe facility must ensure that the mapping of their scribe’s One-Time Registration (OTR) is completed by April 5, 2026, no later than 11:00 PM. The scribe entry pass will only be generated after successful mapping. In the event of any discrepancies in the admission certificate or scribe entry pass, candidates are advised to consult the official examination notices previously issued by the SSC, as these guidelines will govern the resolution of such issues.
