The fraudulent letter, dated August 8, 2025, allegedly stated that:
- SSC had decided to revise the results for some CHSL 2024 candidates whose results were supposedly not processed.
- Departments were asked to submit details of unfilled vacancies related to the SSC CHSL exam.
The circulation of this letter caused confusion among candidates and relevant authorities.
SSC Clarification
The Commission has clearly stated:
- No official letter regarding the CHSL 2024 result revision has been issued by any regional or central office.
- All user departments and ministries are advised not to take any action based on the fake letter.
- Any physical dossiers or communications related to this matter should be considered suspicious and reported to the SSC for verification.
