SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Exam will be conducted in September by the Staff Selection Commission, after it was postponed by the commission. Earlier, the exam was scheduled from August 13, 2025, to August 30, 2025. The authority is set to release the SSC CGL 2025 Admit Card at any time on its official website. Candidates appearing for the SSC CGL 2025 Exam can download their admit cards through the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The Staff Selection Commission Chairman, S. Gopalakrishnan, said that the commission will conduct the SSC CGL 2025 Exam in a single shift. Along with this, the examination centre will be allotted to candidates within a 100 km radius.
After the protests led by various students and teachers, the commission has made some bold moves to improve its management system. The Commission will adopt a Four-Agency model for its smooth functioning rather than depending on one vendor. According to the Four-Agency Model, the commission will split the responsibilities among different vendors.
The SSC has also released the list of ‘tainted candidates’ who were involved in the cash-for-jobs scandal, and assured the court that not a single tainted candidate will be allowed to give the exam.
