SSC CGL Exam Centres 2025 Within 100 KM Radius

In a major reform, SSC has decided to allot centres within a 100-kilometre radius of the candidate’s address. This move aims to reduce travel difficulties faced by aspirants in earlier years. Currently, 80% of candidates are allotted nearby centres, and SSC plans to increase this to 90% and above.

A state-wise list of SSC CGL 2025 exam centres has been issued, covering regions such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and more.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Reforms Announced

The SSC Chairman confirmed several technical and administrative reforms for this year’s exam:

  • Single Shift Exam: To reduce differences in paper difficulty.
  • New Normalisation Formula: Candidates will be evaluated shift-wise, ensuring fairness.
  • Aadhaar Verification Mandatory: Introduced for faster ID checks and to curb impersonation.
  • Infrastructure Upgrade: Exam-conducting agencies are instructed to test and improve systems before exam day.

Aadhaar Verification Compulsory for SSC CGL 2025

After the Selection Post Phase 13 exam glitches, where over 59,500 candidates were impacted, the commission made Aadhaar-based verification mandatory for all candidates. This is expected to enhance transparency, prevent impersonation, and speed up entry at exam centres.
