The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) successfully conducted the CGL 2025 Tier-1 re-exam today, October 14, 2025. This re-test was held after disruptions during the original exam, which ran from September 12 to 26. The re-exam addressed technical glitches and a fire incident at one Mumbai centre. Around 55,000 affected candidates appeared across multiple centres in India. Admit cards for the re-exam were made available from October 9 on regional SSC websites.
SSC CGL Tier-1 Provisional Answer Key
The provisional answer key for SSC CGL 2025 Tier-1, including the re-exam, will be released shortly on the official portal ssc.digialm.in. Candidates will be able to raise objections against any answer by paying Rs 100 per questionwithin the stipulated objection window.
The exam was conducted to fill 14,582 vacancies in Group B and C posts, including the Income Tax Inspector, now classified under Group B.
