The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam today, September 12. Over 28 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the nationwide test. On this occasion, SSC Chairman Gopalakrishnan S shared an important message with aspirants.
SSC Chairman’s Message to Candidates
The SSC Chairman extended his best wishes to all candidates and assured them of smooth conduct of the exam. He clarified that candidates should not panic in case of any technical glitch. “In case of any snag, the system will be shifted promptly, and there will be no loss of time,” the official notice mentioned.
Laptop-Based Exam Pilot in Kolkata
For the first time, SSC has introduced laptop-based exams at selected centres in Kolkata. This pilot initiative aims to increase operational flexibility. The move is also expected to help the Commission conduct future exams, including CGL, in a single shift.
Fairness and Transparency Measures
The Commission has stressed its commitment to conducting the exam fairly and transparently. Candidates have been instructed to follow the exam guidelines mentioned in the SSC CGL carefully admit card 2025. Any case of malpractice, impersonation, or rule violation will invite strict disciplinary action.
