The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has commenced the SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 2 entrance exam from June 10 in online remote proctored mode. The Phase 2 will conclude on June 15, 2026. The Phase 3 registration process will close on June 30, 2026.
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has officially started the SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 2 engineering entrance exam on June 10, 2026. This national level entrance test is being conducted as a remote proctored online exam, which allows registered school students to safely take the entire test directly from their home computers using a working webcam. Thousands of engineering aspirants are appearing for the second phase of the examination across multiple days to secure their BTech admission into various campuses of the university.

The university authorities have scheduled the online entrance test over a window of six consecutive days for all registered students. SRMJEEE 2026 Revised Marking Scheme
The official university examination board has introduced an updated structure for the test paper layout this academic session. School students must understand the distribution of questions and the scoring system to solve the paper within the collective time limit without facing any issues. The complete structure of the examination including the section-wise distribution of marks and general guidelines is specified in the list below:
- The test paper consists of 130 multiple-choice questions which candidates must solve within a total time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- This year the total evaluation marks have been increased to 130 marks from the previous pattern of 125 marks.
- Every correct answer adds +1 mark to the score card, and there is no negative marking for choosing wrong answers or leaving any question unattempted.
- The Mathematics section contains 40 questions, whereas candidates choosing Biotechnology tracks must attempt 40 questions from Biology.
- The Physics and Chemistry sections contain 35 objective questions each, while the final English and Aptitude section contains 20 combined questions.
- Candidates are strictly required to sit alone in a well-lit room and stay facing their screen continuously as remote proctors monitor the video feed.
