Six students from the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) have been awarded full tuition coverage under the newly launched Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP) Scholarship. The initiative was formally introduced on campus in the presence of senior Adani Group leaders and IIM Lucknow faculty members.
Adani Accelerated Leadership Program Scholarship Details
The AALP Scholarship is designed to support meritorious students while nurturing future-ready leaders through a combination of financial aid and mentorship. Selection will be based on applications and rigorous evaluation under AALP’s leadership metrics.
- This year (2025): Six first-year PGP students will receive the full tuition scholarship.
- From 2026 onwards: The program will expand to include both first and second-year PGP batches.
This structured approach aims to gradually build a larger cohort of scholarship recipients while deepening industry–academic collaboration.
Leadership Development Focus
While announcing the scholarship, Subhashrie R. Venkatraj emphasized that the program goes beyond financial support. It is aimed at shaping leaders capable of driving innovation, building purpose-driven careers, and contributing to India’s growth story.
At the launch event, Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airport, highlighted the role of education and corporate partnerships in nation-building. He remarked that with India’s GDP per capita rising and infrastructure demand accelerating, the convergence of technology and infrastructure—driven by AI and digitalisation—will play a transformative role in the coming decade.
Student Engagement and Panel Discussions
Following the announcement, IIM Lucknow hosted a panel discussion and fireside chat with the scholarship recipients and faculty members. Topics included:
- Early leadership opportunities in management careers
- Customer-centric innovation in the business ecosystem
- Integration of technology and infrastructure
- Building sustainable, purpose-driven career paths
The session provided students with direct insights from industry leaders and showcased the scholarship’s emphasis on mentorship alongside financial aid.
